A New Living System

Home is no longer four walls, it is a place of being; built upon intention, sustainability and timeless design. Return to Form is truly unorthodox – the second tallest mass-timbre building in the nation and first in its market. Habitants come here not for a place to live, but for a place to be – Return to Form is an extension of those priorities and values that transform living into belonging. When crafting a narrative for the project, and subsequent naming, we wanted to disrupt current conventions by using phrase as name, we immediately disrupted how the building was referred to and spoken about. The supporting identity system wanted to be thoughtful, inviting and hand hewn, evocative of the care and materiality that went into the structure itself and honoring the environmental assets utilized in its construction.
